Adenium is a family of Apocinaceae, which the flower is like plumeria. It's from South Africa, Somalia, and Arab. From that place, it spreads to America, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia.

The first person who pollinates Adenium is Dr.Mark A.Dimmitt, a plant curator from Arizona Desert Museum. He pollinated Adenium Obesum with Adenium Swazicum , and the result is born Adenium Crimson Star.

Kind Adeniums that people hunting usually are: Obesum, Arabicum, Swazicum, Multiflorum, Oleifolium, Somalense. Adenium has high price. That's why many nursery sell this plant now adays.
